Transporter App — Privacy Policy

1. Who processes your data

The App is used within the delivery operations of the courier agency you work with. For the operational data processed through the App, your agency is normally the data controller, while Paraschiv Cristian Vasile PFA operates the platform and processes data on the agency's behalf as data processor.

2. Data we process

Account data: username and the identification data your agency associates with your profile. Device data: device model, operating system, app version and the push notification token. Operational data: assigned tickets, delivery statuses, timestamps, notes and the activity log of your work in the App.

App preferences such as theme, preferred maps application and sound or vibration feedback are stored to provide the experience you configured.

3. Location data

While you are logged in and on duty, the App collects your device's GPS position, including in the background, to allow dispatching and to let your agency follow deliveries in real time. Your position is visible to your agency as part of its delivery operations.

Location collection stops when you log out. You can also withdraw the system-level location permission at any time from your device settings, although the App may then be unable to support your work.

4. Purposes and legal basis

Data is processed to operate the delivery service: assigning tickets, tracking deliveries, notifying you of new work and documenting completed activity. The legal bases are the performance of the working relationship between you and your agency and the agency's legitimate interest in organising and documenting its delivery operations.

5. Sharing

Operational data is available to your agency. Technical providers hosting the platform act as sub-processors under contractual instructions. When you start navigation, the destination address is passed to the external maps application you selected (such as Apple Maps or Google Maps), whose processing is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area unless adequate safeguards under the GDPR are in place.

6. Retention

Operational and location data is retained for the periods defined by your agency's policies and by applicable law, and is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for those purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Since your agency is normally the controller, requests are best addressed to it; we will assist in fulfilling them. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

8. Security

Access to the App is protected by per-device registration and personal credentials, communications with the platform are encrypted in transit, and access to operational data is limited by role-based permissions.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
